Yes, the BioMat® is very safe for most people, with very few contraindications. Assuming you are mostly healthy, with no medical conditions that would specifically exclude Infrared heat therapy. We do recommend that you check with a health practitioner before using the BioMat® if you are uncertain.
People with certain conditions should not use a Biomat, or should use it with caution:
Immobility People who have difficulty moving or changing positions should use low heat or negative ions only, and for no more than 8 hours per day.
Pacemakers and defibrillators People with an internal pacemaker or defibrillator should consult a physician before using a Biomat. Use low heat only, and do not lay the Biomat directly over a defibrillator.
Organ transplants People who have had an organ transplant should not use a Biomat for the first two years after the transplant.
Pregnancy Pregnant or possibly pregnant people should use low or no heat, and negative ions only.
Radiation or chemotherapy People who have recently received radiation or chemotherapy should use low to medium heat (95F-131F).
Skin problems People with skin problems on the area of use should not use a Biomat.
Heat sensitivity People who are insensitive to heat should not use a Biomat.
Ointments or creams People should not use a Biomat with any ointments or creams that generate heat.
Other conditions People with certain conditions, such as adrenal suppression disorders, Addison's disease, adrenal insufficiency, systematic lupus, and multiple sclerosis, should not use a Biomat unless directed by a physician

When using your sauna with a child, operate at a lower temperature and for no more than 15 minutes at a time. A general rule of thumb is 1 minute inside your sauna per year of age for the child, but always accompanied by an adult. And remember to keep you and your children hydrated, even if you don’t see them sweating.

Proper sauna use is important; just like we warm up and cool down our bodies when we exercise, there are some basic steps to follow to ensure you gain maximum benefits of using a sauna.
Before Sauna Use:Drink a minimum of 8 oz. of water to prepare your body for an increase in core body temperature.
After Sauna Use:Watch your time: Make sure to adjust your session length in accordance to your body’s needs. If you are just beginning with regular sauna use, it is important to start slow and get your body accustomed to infrared therapy. We recommend beginning with 10-15 minute sessions at 100°F every other day. Gradually increase toward 40 minute daily sessions in the optimal temperature range. Always listen to your body and adjust based on what it’s telling you.
Stick with it for long-term benefits: Just as with exercise or eating healthy, sauna use takes time and consistency to see results. You may not even sweat the first few times you use your sauna, but know that sweating (and the detox that comes with it) will increase over time, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and healthy. Airbrush makeup and traditional makeup differ in application, coverage, and finish:
Application Airbrush makeup is applied with a gun that sprays a lightweight mist of foundation onto the face, while traditional makeup is applied with brushes, sponges, or your hands.
Coverage Airbrush makeup is applied in thin layers, and can be customized for coverage. Traditional makeup is more opaque and offers richer coverage.
Finish Airbrush makeup has a natural, lightweight feel and a finish that photographs well. Traditional makeup is more flexible and allows for experimentation with different looks.
Other considerations Airbrush makeup is more weatherproof, sweatproof, and waterproof than traditional makeup. However, it may not provide enough coverage for some events, and it can sit differently on mature skin. Clients can cancel appointments within 24hrs after booking. Canceled appointments after 24hrs from booking will require a 50% cancellation fee. You are encouraged to reschedule appointments at least 24hrs before the scheduled appointment. Your paid deposit will be credited towards the rebooked appointment.
